Why I Wrote Whispers of a Dream Granter

I began writing Whispers of a Dream Granter during a time when the world felt too loud. I wanted to create something soft a place where hearts could rest for a while.

Traveling across cities, surrounded by music, lights, and constant motion, I often found myself longing for stillness a quiet reminder that beauty still exists in small, forgotten corners. One evening, I looked out the window of my office and saw an old oak tree shimmering beneath the moonlight. It’s more than two centuries old, its branches alive with life squirrels darting, birds singing, a turtle resting near its roots, and butterflies drifting through the air. It felt alive, as if it were listening. That tree became the Dream Tree, and its branches have never stopped whispering to me since.

That moment real and imagined all at once became the heartbeat of Whispers of a Dream Granter. It grew into Bonbon Avenue Village: a world where kindness carries magic and believing becomes an act of courage.

I wanted readers children and adults alike to remember that wonder isn’t something we outgrow. It waits patiently inside us, whispering, “Believe again.”
